2005 in Review

Here is a snapshot of what Samaritan Aviation accomplished in 2005. We would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all our supporters and partners who made it possible.

What We Did…

 

 

 

 

Delivered over $800,000 worth of medications and medical supplies to the Boram Hospital in Wewak, Papua New Guinea for a cost of less than $20,000.

Coordinated 10 flights to Baja clinic, transporting over 80 medical professionals and volunteers.

Completed the installation of a Hepa filtration system to a hospital surgical room in Baja, Mexico with our sister organization Colorado Airlift Outreach.

Delivered over $200,000 worth of medications and supplies to Baja clinic.

Manufactured and delivered two JET Sets to Africa and Turkey

Completed mercy flights, transporting people in need who would have no options otherwise.

Coordinated a massive relief effort for victims of Hurricane Katrina, delivering a full 53 foot semi packed with clothes and other items to the area and supporting 26 families who relocated to the Montrose, Colorado area.

Installed a new instrument panel in our Cessna 182, all donated by Honeywell and Wings of Hope.

Added Mark Palm to our full-time roster, and moved the Palm family from southern California to Montrose where they are making preparations to move to Papua New Guinea.
