ADVISORS

The founders of Samaritan Aviation attribute a large part of the ministry's success to the leadership of its Advisory Board. The four individuals that comprise this board were  selected early in the ministry's life and are professionals in the areas of missions, medicine, aviation, and finance. The following paragraphs list these advisors and give detailed information about each:

Donald F. White (Financial Advisor) is the founder and
CEO of Treasure Coast Financial Services, Inc. His
radio broadcast, "God's Money" is heard twice daily on WAYF-FM, in West Palm Beach, FL. A well-regarded professional speaker, Mr. White has spoken widely on a variety of financial, as well as non-financial, topics in both industry and public forums. His all-day seminar, "Five Years to Freedom", a guide to being debt free in five years or less, has been heard by thousands of people throughout the United States. Mr. White is also the author of three audio-cassette series. He is a nine time qualifying member of the Million-Dollar Round Table, and is listed in Who's Who in America.

Mr. White is an energetic Christian who considers mentoring to be a ministry. We at Samaritan Aviation have found him to be extremely helpful and enlightening in many aspects. We consider it a privilege to have him as our Financial Advisor. Here is what he had to say about Samaritan Aviation:

"Solomon tells us, 'One man gives generously yet gains more, another withholds to himself and comes to poverty.' We are approached almost daily to either support or find support for many a worthy cause. It is difficult to know where to allocate both our energy and God's resources. The challenge of giving is a paradox, when we give we are given even more to give. Samaritan Aviation is a ministry worthy of both our energy and God's money. Their vision to help people no one else will ever help is contagious. I encourage you to give generously to Samaritan Aviation. I assure you many will gain even more because of your gift."

Gary Morsch, M.D., M.P.H. (Medical Advisor) is the president and founder of Heart to Heart International - a network of volunteers that has delivered more than $300 million of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to people in need. A Rhodes Scholar national finalist, Dr. Morsch graduated from Southern Nazarene University, and attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and is now a major in an Army Reserve Surgical Hospital. Dr. Morsch currently supports his volunteer work with a position as an emergency room physician. He has received numerous awards, including the President's Volunteer Action Award, the Points of Light Community Leadership Award, and the first ever Humanitarian Award offered by American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Morsch recently has been named to Focus on the Family's Physicians' Resource Council. He is the author of three books, including his most recent book, Heart and Soul: Awakening Your Passion to Serve.

Since the very beginning of Samaritan Aviation, Dr. Morsch has challenged us to set our standards high. His life and his advice have been a true source of encouragement. It is an honor to have him as our Medical Advisor. This is what he had to say about Samaritan Aviation:

"As a medical doctor who travels literally around the globe, I am acutely aware of the great need for ministries like Samaritan Aviation in many parts of the world. Not only does this type of ministry provide access to healing assistance for needy patients, but can open the door of evangelism to thousands of people who need to hear the gospel. I encourage you to consider giving both your prayer and your financial support to the exciting ministry of Samaritan Aviation!"

Rev. Gerald Bustin (Missions Advisor) is the General Director of the Evangelical Bible Mission - a worldwide missionary organization that specializes in developing indigenous churches. He began his missionary career in his early teens, actually preaching in remote villages at age fourteen. At nineteen he wrote a book entitled, Teenage Missionary. After nearly twenty years of missionary work in Papua New Guinea, Rev. Bustin was elected to the position he now holds. He is a true visionary and has been instrumental in starting new missionary works around the world, including a Bible college in the former Soviet Union. A well-regarded orator, Rev. Bustin has spoken in churches, colleges, and conventions in many countries. He is an expert in cross-cultural relations, speaking five languages.

Rev. Gerald Bustin brings years of experience as a missionary, and as a mission executive to our advisory council. It is an honor to have him as our Mission Advisor. This is what he had to say about Samaritan Aviation:

"In forty years of experience in foreign missionary
work, I have seen tremendous results from a combined ministry to the physical and spiritual needs of underprivileged people. Jesus showed compassion on the hungry, the hurting, and the sick. His compassion became a vehicle to usher them into the Kingdom and eternal life. Samaritan Aviation's vision of flying into remote areas and bringing medicine and spiritual ministry to needy people is certainly worthy of your prayerful support. There is no doubt it will bring eternal results."
